Currently, G.I.R.L is involved with the community in North County San Diego, Connecticut, and  New York. If you would like information on how to become a volunteer, please contact us in the form below.

• In North County San Diego we volunteer with North County Community Services which provides vitally needed services to local residents, operating seven Preschool Child Development Centers as well as North County's Food Bank. Volunteers help with every aspect of operations at the food bank: collecting donations, sorting food, packing and distributing food boxes and cleaning. Before your first shift, you need to attend a two hour long orientation and training session.

• In Connecticut and New York we host poetry benefits to gather school supplies for hundreds of children for low to middle income families.
